This site was started with the idea of including many sets of eyes to find the best of unknown indie media and many voices to discuss them.
We want to share your voice with our community of readers!
Stick With The Indies is, always has been, and always will be a labor of love. Everyone on the SWTI team is a volunteer. The only thing anyone receives as compensation is the occasional advance copy and copious ‘thank you’s.
Whether you’re interested in writing a single post or becoming a regular contributor, we’d be delighted to work with you!
How does the process work?
I (Renee) personally edit, format, publish and promote each and every post on SWTI. After you send a draft of your initial post, I will look it over and return an edit to you (usually within 24 hours) for approval. Your writing should always sound like you wrote it. If it doesn’t, we’ll work on it together until we’re both happy with the result. You will always be given final approval of your work.
We will then select a date for publication. If you have a WordPress account, you’ll be added as a contributor. If not, I’ll post your writing on our guest account with a by-line and bio added manually. You will be tagged in all social media posts.
In nearly every case, we have no interest in exclusivity. Cross-posting is not only allowed, it’s encouraged! If you write for us and have a blog or site of your own, you are more than welcome to post the same article on both (with the appropriate mention of where it was initially posted).
