Ben is the only openly gay student at his Texas high school. He has a crush on Tim, the popular athlete with a prom queen girlfriend. After an accident brings them together, Ben and Tim begin a friendship that quickly turns romantic. Tim cannot bring himself to come out to his friends and family, and Ben doesn’t want to hide his love.
They break up.
Years later, Ben has found his perfect match in flight attendant, Jace until a chance encounter with now openly gay Tim makes them both question what could have been and what still could be.
